This Online Course May Be The Answer.
Ken Coleman,
Is a Ramsey Personality from a personal finance consulting organization known as “Ramsey Solutions”. He has a plethora of resources for anyone who is seeking a job or wants to upgrade their career.
Coleman authored a book entitled “The Proximity Principle”. (Available from Amazon). He also has two podcasts; “The Ken Coleman Show” and “Work Matters“.
I recently purchased the “Get Hired” Digital Course and love the content.
Ken’s philosophy is based on a core belief that we are all created for a purpose and our passions and interests should correspond to the marketplace work we do. This intersection of our purpose and passion is what he refers to as our “Sweet Spot” If we’re not in our Sweet Spot then we will be miserable. His course guides the user through exercises of self-awareness identifying one’s strengths and passions. Once you know your strengths and passions, then you can prepare yourself for the employment positions which fit. After that, you get in proximity to the people who need your help. Then you get promoted and live happily ever after.
Ken’s Formula:
- Get Clear
- Get Qualified
- Get Connected
- Get Started
- Get Promoted
- Get Your Dream Job
- Give Yourself Away
At The Time of this Blog, we are in the Covid-19 Economic Disruption (Summer of 2020).
If you’ve found yourself unexpectedly unemployed, you should choose to plan rather than worry. Worrying is a negative expectation of the future, while planning is a positive expectation of the future.
I believe a simple and direct plan is always the best plan.
Ken Coleman’s “Get Hired” digital course is the foundation I am using for my plan for a successful future.
Personal Financial Responsibility, or “Common Sense”
When storms in life come, and they will come, your enemy is Consumer Debt. Your ally is your Savings Account.
I have been following a personal financial plan for several years. One step of this plan is to have Three to Six Months of living expenses saved. If it were not for the lifestyle created by following this plan, I would be in a very unstable place.
Manage your money! Check out Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University.
I also serve in a local Ministry Known as “Money Works”, Blue Ridge Community Church, and have personally witnessed life change over and over as God’s way of handling money leads people into financial freedom.
If you’re in a bad place, keep moving!
Feed yourself with positivity. Decide where you want to be next month, next year, and five years from now. Develop your plan, and go do it!
