If you love learning best business practices, personal improvement, or life hacks, then I hope you find this content useful, or at least entertaining! My goal is to share small ‘bite sized’ information here in the hopes that it will help you succeed.
I’m Billy Shelton. I have a background in business management. I love learning, and I love to share ideas which I have learned. In the fall of 2017, I started writing a small weekly email sharing books and business principles I was studying to a small group of people. Throughout the process of creating the weekly emails, I realized I really enjoyed the process. And the process helped me learn the concepts of the subject matter. So, in January of 2019, I started this blog.
I graduated from Lynchburg College in 1992 with a BA in Business Administration and a Major in Accounting. I have worked in management of small businesses all my life, and for several years owned my own Landscape Maintenance Company. I am currently employed by Craft Collision Centers, where I work in Invoicing and Accounts Receivable management.
I also enjoy serving in a few different ministries at Blue Ridge Community Church. Currently, “Money Works”, “Fit to Serve”, and “Men’s Life”. In Spring of 2019 I am going on a Missions Trip to Nepal. My hobbies include, but not limited to Mountain Biking, working on my old Jeep CJ7, and building a DIY Camper out of a small enclosed trailer.
